About My Teas

Hello, my name is Sarah. As you have probably guessed by now, I love tea. Tea just has this comforting and calming quality that no other drink has. Tea is also very good for you, which means you can drink it guilt-free. I love trying new teas, so I have collected quite a few different blends. I'll showcase some of my favorite and most interesting teas. All of these teas can be purchased at Becca's Well in Lawrenceville.

Orange Blossom

This is one of my most comforting teas. The green tea provides for a smooth herbal flavor and the orange adds just enough acidity to brighten up the tea. Green tea has many benefits, such as improving cognitive function and relieving headaches. The caffeine is low, so I like to drink this tea before going to sleep.

Peach Blossom

This blend combines white tea with peach blossoms as well as dehydrated bits of peach, making for a very fruity flavor. This tea finds the perfect balance between floral and tang. White tea is known for lowering the risk of developing heart disease and cancer, and it also helps with weight loss. Peach Blossom pairs perfectly with sweet treats, such as tea biscuits.

Moonlight Jasmine

This is the blend for green tea lovers. The green tea comes through nice and strong, with the jasmine blossoms adding an additional layer of flavor. If you need an energy boost, this tea provides for a healthy source of caffeiene. I like to add a touch of honey to this blend for a bit of sweetness.

White Tea Rose

This is my all-time favorite blend. The combination of white tea and green tea allows for a mellow earthiness that is not too bitter. The lavender and rose petals make for a very aromatic tea, and the peppermint has a cooling effect that is very refreshing. White Tea Rose is special in that it helps soothe menstrual cramps.

Peppermint

This tea is perfect for the holidays. The warmth of the tea combined with the strong peppermint flavor makes this tea exactly what you want to drink snuggled up beside the fireplace. Peppermint tea calms the digestive system, which is why it is often recommended for stomach aches.

Blue Jasmine

This is one of the few teas I own that is meant to be served cold. Blue Jasmine is unique in that it changes color from blue to purple when combined with an acid, such as lemon. This tea is perfect for adding a floral undertone to a lemonade or any other citrusy beverage.
